February 19 65th Anniversary of the U. S. landing on Iwo Jima
February 23 65th Anniversary of the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi
There will be a short wreath laying ceremony at the monument to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the flag raising on Iwo Jima. It will take place at 10:30 a.m. on February 23, 2010 at the National Iwo Jima Memorial Monument. Rain/snow date February 24.
